Senior Sales Analyst

 

About the position:

  • The Senior Sales Analyst is an essential member of our Central European Distribution Team. The job holder provides distribution support and operational analyses related to the regional activities of AXN CE.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monthly subscriber reports upload
  • Distribution department’s operational costs management
  • Administration of the partners’ data across company operational systems and data base
  • Provide operational support to regional and local distribution colleagues
  • Cooperate with other departments (Marketing, Programming, Finance, Legal), coordinate and support their work

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years sales analyst work experience (finance background is a plus, but not required)
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Team player attitude with excellent communication skills – must have strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and comprehensive way of thinking
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Research Specialist

 

About the position:

  • The regional research specialist (located in SPTE’s Budapest office) supplies the CE business with ad-hoc reports, analyses, through primary, secondary and desktop researches, competitive reports. The position is created to enable the effective creation of local tactics & strategy for the SPTE brands.
  • While being a person of research tools, numbers and equations she/he is still able to a strong background to the numbers. The position is within the Brand department, the researcher has an important role in supporting other departments (EG: programming, ad-sales, distribution,) on an ad-hoc basis with reports.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ratings Forecast
  • Flash Reports for Programming, Marketing and Distribution on regional level
  • Business Modelling
  • KPI analysis
  • Analysing current and past channel performance in the region
  • Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
  • Creating daily, weekly, and monthly reports & presentations on the KPIs of Sony’s linear/ non-linear brands
  • Working with big data and creating summaries for decision makers
  • Creating local competitor researches
  • Creating weekly market bullet point style digests on the most important happenings related to the channels, TV-, media-, cable provider market, content and brands
  • Planning, developing, and leading local brand researches with local agencies
  • Supporting marketing, programming, ad-sales, distribution activities with consolidating Nielsen and other researches to actionable reports with the supervision of the Regional Head of Research and Business Intelligence
  • Taking part in modelling and forecasts with the supervision of the Regional Head of Research Business Intelligence

Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience as a researcher, preferably in the media industry
  • Thorough understanding of the logic of television measurement
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Good written and spoken English
